There are four primary Empires on this world. The Randor (RAN-DOOR) Empire, the Dhorgarohm (DOOR-GAR-ORM) Empire, the Magdrael (MAG-DRE-EL) Empire and the Nakrell (NA-KRA-EL) Empire. Each Empire has 7 Kingdoms. Each Kingdom has a designated ruler. The ruler of the Kingdom is given control of a certain amount of area to rule however they see fit. However, it must always be in the best interest of the Empire. "For the good of the Empire." is the general mantra shared throughout the world no matter what Empire you call home.
The Randor Empire and it's Kingdoms are comprised mainly of what most would consider "humans". Other races live among them, including Eleven, Dwarven and other, but the primary population of this Empire is human.A flourishing Empire, it's relations with the Dhorgarohm Empire and Magdrael Empire are fair, if not at least civil mostly.
The Dhorgarohm Empire and it's Kingdoms are comprised largely of both Dwarfs and humans with a slightly larger Dwarven population overall and therefore it's societal influences are a mix of Dwarven and human. Other races reside in the Dhorgarohm Empire, but the primary populations are Dwarven and human. Other races can be found depending on the geographical location. The Dhorgarohm Empire is rumored to have lost underground cities from the first and second age, long since abandoned or forgotten over time and tragedy.
The Magdrael Empire is considered the main land of the Elves. Humans can be found in many locations there, but the main population by a great majority in the Magdrael Empire is Elvish. Although humans can be found in the Magdrael Empire, it is interesting to note that it is one of the few places that has all Elven cities. And more over, other races are not allowed to live there for fear of cultural contamination or unwarranted influence. Dwarfs are not very common in these lands, but you may run across some from time to time. Other races are infrequent as well but can be found if you know where to look.
The Nakrell Empire is home to less common races and is considered a moderately harsh landscape overall. Dragonborn, for example, are said to reside in the Dragon Claw Mountains of the Nakrell Empire. Other races are found in the Nakrell Empire too, such as Dark Elves. The Nakrell Empire is less visited than the other Empires and therefore keeps to itself more than the other three, so less information is known and shared overall. There are rumors though, that there are areas of Undead that roam the landscape among other things.
Each Empire has many villages, towns, cities, kingdoms, caverns, shrines and ruins to visit. Listed below are some of the destinations and brief descriptions based on common knowledge, legend and hearsay.

Kaspenbell Mountains - These mountains are said to be laden with riches and are the primary income source of the Dhorgarohm Empire. It is really hard to know just how deep the mining has gone. Named for the Kaspenbell, a unique uncut gem mined from the mountains during the First Age, it is said to be larger than an umgar fruit. It is also said that the gem is as hard as any steel and emits of low hum at all times. If ever it is purposely struck, it echoes out a deafening sound to all who oppose the possessor.
